About Alcove Survival

Alcove Survival was established by a former United States Marine and later, Senior Director of Operations at a multi-billion dollar fulfillment and CPG organization.  The founder loved to experience the outdoors while coming to greatly respect the harshness of existence without the comforts we have all grown accustomed to when enjoying the wilderness.

However, the founder felt it necessary to start Alcove Survival when he tried, unsuccessfully, to purchase a variety of outdoors and survival related gear from some of the bigger names in the business. Some items took many months to arrive, others simply never did.  In the meantime, customer service was, at best, unhelpful, and at worst, nonexistent.
